Let’s get started by telling you a little bit about myself.
I’m originally from Fort Meade, Maryland. I have been living in Georgia for over ten years now and met the love of my life here. I grew up being taught what hard work and dedication mean through watching my dad make endless sacrifices for his family. I do my best to carry this out in my daily life and will take any challenge that comes my way. I’m now a student at AU going for my BFA in graphic design and starting my own business.
I always try to look at things from different viewpoints in order to see things from others’ perspectives. This has helped me to connect with people better and grow my thinking in everything I do. Being able to do things this way and being open can sometimes result in the best designs. You are no longer closed off to what is possible; you embrace it. I’m able to take inspiration from everywhere and put it into my designs, while including other people's cultures and love for what they do.
Along the way, I have learned that sometimes imperfections are what make things beautiful. Life is messy and confusing most of the time. Not all things work out the first time, but if you stay dedicated and determined it will work out. It’s the hard work and the memories along the way that make the end result worth it. I want to be a resource to people that need it. Help them with things that they might struggle with, because I struggled with it myself. I want this to be more than just a business transaction; I want this to be a lasting relationship for years to come. I hope that I can make a bad day better for you during our interaction and the design process. I’m happy you’re here, so let’s do this together!
